Fashion trends have always been influenced by Bollywood, but during the past 20 years, actors’ influence has expanded beyond the screen. Armed with personal stylists and a to-wear list of popular worldwide brands, millennial actors upload images of every outfit they wear, from high-octane ensembles for the red carpet to “candid” everyday shots. Magazines, blogs, and social media accounts make comments about these outfits or, at the very least, name the brands the stars are sporting. Actors may now be able to sustain their careers entirely on the basis of their unique flair.
